I have been asked by the Association's Chairman to invite you to be present at our Annual General Meeting this year which is to be held at the Royal Over-Seas League, Over-Seas House, Park Place, St. James's Street, London on Thursday, 30th May commencing at 2.30 p.m.
As usual our President Lord Grey, will be giving a small luncheon party before the meeting and he has asked me to invite you to lunch with him. This will be at 12 noon for 12.30 p.m. I hope very much that you will be able to come.
During the course of the proceedings we invite guest speakers to say a few words on subjects which are of particular concern to us and we hope, therefore, that you will agree to address the gathering for a few minutes on the question of Hong Kong public service pensions, bringing us up to date as far as the United Kingdom Government is concerned.
I shall look forward to meeting you again then.
Yours sincerely,
Douglas Denton
