We spoke about the attached letter. I think we can expect quite a few so we had better ensure as far as possible that we respond in a standard fashion.
2. I do not think we should risk being any more forthcoming than I have suggested in the attached draft. Progress "by the end of the year" should not be a hostage to fortune given the Prime Ministerial interest described in Andrew Burns' letter of 13 September to Mr Mortimer at the Treasury.
