One option would be to amend the existing SPOS arrangements to ensure that they "work both ways". The other is for HMG to take over responsibility for payment of HMOCS pensions at a fixed exchange rate.

We shall continue to pursue this issue vigorously with HMG and I hope that we shall eventually achieve a satisfactory outcome.
