Introduction

At present there are 914 expatriate officers serving in the RHKPF comprising approximately 30% of the entire officer.

Of these 914 expatriate officers, 363 (40%) are members, of HMOCS. In addition there are 260 potential HMOCS members being those expatriate contract officers who may apply to transfer to permanent and pensionable terms of service. We very worried about a possible exodus of local officers as approaches. Viewed in this light it is important that as as possible of the expatriate officers be retained for the foreseeable future..
