Meeting with Harbour Engineering Co Ltd (HEC)

The PAA welcomes the interest expressed by HEC in

participating in the Site Preparation Contract at Chek Lap

Kok.

2.

Application for prequalification of tenderers for

this contract was closed on 3 May 1991. Late applications,

including the one submitted by HEC, cannot be considered now

because this would mean re-opening the prequalification

exercise and would seriously delay the programme for the

contract.

However, HEC can still participate in the Site

Preparation Contract in one of the following ways -

either a) as a sub-contractor to one of the

consortia or joint ventures who have

already applied for prequalification;

or

b)

in partnership with one of those

consortia or joint ventures.
