Those concerned with this tender on the Hong Kong Government side are of course unwilling to give much additional information. have however been given one or two pointers.
We
They will be faxing to you today 24 January or 25 January details of what further clarification is required for discussion on 29 and 31 January.
The Hong Kong authorities on their side will have six or so people present. Peter Crisp, Director of Marine, will be there
at the beginning but not necessarily throughout. Representatives of their GSD (Government Supplies Department) and Legal Department will be there.
I also understand that not all companies that submitted bids are being invited at this stage to a clarification meeting. There
a slight hint that it is good news to be invited.
