ITEM 5 GARRISON SUPPORT MANPOWER REQUIREMENTS AND TASKING POST RN MOVE TO STONECUTTERS' ISLAND
36. ACOS J3 BFHK explained that whilst a specific study had been carried out, in fact rationalisation of future posts was going on continuously. The latest example of this was the Army Arms & Services Paper (ASAS). Notwithstanding that, BFHK did not believe that any additional manpower would be needed, dependent of course on the outcome of the Patrol Craft issue. He added that the RN Security Report was still awaited too. Members should note that reprovisioning to Stonecutters' would not be complete before February 1993 (some 5 months late).
