b. Those deploying from UK will not number more than 250. They will fly to Hong Kong using a mixture of BFHK's charter flight places and ATF.

Following deployment, there will be 2 main phases; an IS phase, followed by a Territorial Integrity (TI) phase.
1992.
105. JTP 30 is due for a further revision in November 1992. This next revise will therefore be able to incorporate lessons learned from the exercise together with any changes foreseen in the Hong Kong Withdrawal Plan concerning the projected withdrawal of subsequent
major units.
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE WITHDRAWAL PLAN AND THE LTC
106. The current LTC is based on the existing withdrawal plan with
some modifications on items which have been dealt with as separate
issues (eg Patrol Craft and helicopters). It will be important that this Review clearly identifies, justifies and costs changes to the withdrawal programme which will have LTC implications. This applies equally to the DCA where HQ BFHK has given assurances to HKG that the most effective and economic use of resources will be made.
107. The relevant LTC in this case will be LTC 92 on which work
started in earnest in Summer 1991, with recommendations about
programme changes being made in late Autumn. Work on the Withdrawal Plan has therefore proceeded in parallel with LTC 92. Proposed
changes have been costed and issued by the OMB as alternative assumptions with appropriate justification statements. Once the revised plan is approved by Chiefs of Staff, it will be necessary to
