c) Advice on Bilaterals

Last year the Chancellor saw Robinson (Trinidad & Tobago), AAA (Nigeria) and the Commonwealth Secretary-General. I should be grateful for any bids, which should be supported by a short justification.

Briefing will be requested in due course, as appropriate.

d) Draft Speech

Contributions to the Economic Secretary's speech will be requested separately (probably next week).

The Treasury deadline for briefs in final is 13 September. should be grateful if bids for bilaterals could reach me by 30 August and LPRs/briefs in final form by 11 September.
