ELECTORAL PROVISIONS (PROCEDURE) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1990

Made by the Governor in Council under section 28

1.

Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Electoral Provisions

(Procedure) (Amendment) Regulations 1990.

Interpretation

(1) Regulation 2 of the Electoral Provisions (Procedure)

Regulations (Cap. 367 sub. leg.) is amended by being renumbered as

paragraph (1).

(2)

Regulation 2 (1) is amended

(a) by adding before the definition of "polling station"

""counting agent" means a person appointed as a

counting agent under regulation 40;

"election agent" means a person appointed as an

election agent under regulation 15;

"nomination period" has the meaning assigned to

it in -

(a)

regulations 3(1)(b) and (2)(ii)

in relation to an ordinary

election;
