AD HOC WORKING GROUP ON IMMIGRATION: NOTE FROM THE UK DELEGATION ON HONG KONG

You may recall that at the meeting of the Ad Hoc Group on Immigration on 12/13 July the Spanish delegation raised the subject of immigration applications from Hong Kong (WGI 640) and Mr Morris undertook to prepare a written response to the questions.

The attached paper describes the situation and the arrangements which are being made to reduce emigration from Hong Kong.
