1. In your absence, I took a call from Mr Wain-Heapy, who

runs a recruitment consultancy. He has been in touch with

Mr Peter Handley (Department of Transport) about recruitment in Hong Kong, and obtained your name from him.

2. Mr Wain-Heapy plans to hold a recruitment fair in Hong

Kong, sponsored by the South China Morning Post, in April 1991. He wants to call on the Department to discuss

this.

3.

I provisionally fixed for him to come at 2.00 pm on

Wednesday 13 June. Would this be convenient for you?

Subject to your views I do not think I need to be involved,

but I would be happy to see him too if you wished.
