maximum of 150 points can be awarded under Education and Training. They are divided into 3 tiers General Education, Professional Qualifications/ Vocational Training and Further Qualifications each tier scoring a maximum of 50 points. The following is an indicative scale for illustrative purposes.

will score up to 50 points in respect of the basic academic, vocational and professional qualifications relevant to the occupational group under which you are applying. Points will be awarded to the highest level in the different stages of professional training or examination that you have completed. For example, you may 50 points if you have attained full professional status within a profession. Details will be published in the relevant manuals.

Further Qualifications
Different points will be scored for different post-qualification and further training or membership of professional institutions relevant to each occupational group. Details will be published in the relevant manuals.
Special Circumstances
A maximum of 150 points can be scored under this head. These points can only be used on the advice of the Steering Committee and with the approval of the Governor. Points scored under this head are broadly divided as follows :
