Under the Disciplined Services Scheme (DSS), 7,000 officers in the disciplined services of the Hong Kong Government will be given full British citizenship. The objective is to construct a points system whereby the best qualified in the right age group will be selected.
The Points System

The DSS points system is similar to the General Allocation Scheme (GAS), in that it comprises the same criteria,
