into general
general education,
basic
vocational/professional
qualifications
and
post-qualification training?
A. 3
Three-parts division takes into account wide variety
of occupations included in the Scheme. In general:
(i) points for general
general education take account of
the general education level of the applicants,
and
not
the specific
Skills/qualifications
required for entry into an occupation
profession.
Thus, any applicant who has
completed Form
education would ocore 30
points.
(ii) points
for
basic
vocational/professional
qualification
take
account of the level of
relevant
(beyond
training/qualifications
general education) required for entry into each
occupation. Thus, an applicant in a technical
job requiring a Polytechnic higher diploma for
entry would score an additional 30 points.
