Contract 5
Traffic Control & Surveillance (TCS)
A "construction" contract. Ultimately this might be more than one contract depending on design decisions.
The contract limit will encompass the TCS control area which extends from Yam O in Lantau to Kwai Chung and Ting Kau areas. Design and supervision of construction to be carried out jointly by the consultants for the Lantau Fixed Crossing and Route 3.
Tenders to be invited from specialist contractors to provide TC$/toll collection/Electrical and Mechanical systems based on outline designs and specifications.
