This would be in Tuen Mun, Mui Wo or Tai O, but an offer of priority in moving back to Tung Chung, when public housing is available there, has been made. commercial and agricultural undertakings, Housing Department will offer ex-gratia allowances to assist eligible operators for business removal;

(e) no suitable sites for relocation of the affected mariculturists could be found in the vicinity. The mariculturists have rejected the offer of sites in Sai Kung or North District. Government recognizes the need to preserve cultural relics and will make arrangements for the removal, storage and re-construction of the Chek
Lap Kok Tin Hau Temple at the resite village;
on environmental matters, the villagers' concern regarding the problems during construction as well as after the opening of the airport were noted.
The extent and expected cost of the environmental impact assessment studies which are to be included in the airport Master Plan Study were explained;

on compensation rates, it was noted that Tung Chung and Chek Lap Kok are at present zoned Category D (the lowest
for compensation), but the villagers were informed that Buildings and Lands Department will propose an upgrading of the zoning.
A letter was subsequently sent to the Committee on 25 June 1990 setting out how Government intends to deal with the various problems raised. A copy of this letter is at Annex D.
