If approval is given for the work to proceed, the importance of the new airport to Hong Kong will be emphasised. It will also be explained how Government has taken into account the interests of the villagers affected by the clearance and the concern of environmentalists. A notice of authorization will also be published in the Gazette in accordance with section 9(1) of the Ordinance.
