THE GURKHAS IN HONG KONG
Problem
1.
During his recent visit, the Governor of Hong Kong expressed concern about the implications for the Gurkhas in Hong Kong on the current Defence Options exercise. He asked for a marker to be put down with the Ministry of Defence.
Recommendation
I recommend that Mr Maude writes to Mr Hamilton along
the lines of the attached draft. SAD agree.
