Dear John
PA 180:
INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS, EUROPE AND UK INTERESTS
On our next international relations course we are planning a series of visits on Monday 12 November 1990 where our course members will be asked to research one of the following themes:
1.
2.
3.
German unification, what next?
The future of Hong Kong
British interests and South Africa
My purpose in writing is to ask whether you or one of your colleagues will be able to receive a group of approximately four to six fast stream civil servants, from various departments, to discuss the future of Hong Kong for about 45-60 minutes. The students will have a series of questions to ask after a 15-20 minute presentation from yourself.
You were kind enough to recieve a group from us in March with such success, that I do hope your busy timetable will allow us another visit.
Please see the enclosed Guidelines on visits to Departments and relevant outside organisations'.
I do hope I can count on your help, and would be grateful if you could let me have your response within the next few days.
Yours sincerely
Care2 Mountford
