Travel. Our Departments will consult each other about the
timing and objectives of familiarisation/research visits abroad. Each will ensure that the other receives a copy of any resulting reports.
Major policy papers. RAD should be consulted at an early
stage.
Briefing. Your Department will arrange for diplomatic staff taking up an appointment in Hong Kong to visit RAD for briefing.
Regular contacts. Research and desk officers will meet
regularly to discuss current concerns.
