todays telephone conversation and our joint inspection of St. John's Building 3rd Floor 1st May last.

I confirm that the HK Government is interested in the possibility of taking over the area which is presently surplus to your needs.

I have spoken to the landlord and he has indicated they would have no objection to such an arrangement. They would expect the existing lease terms be honoured and that rental and other outgoing continue to be paid in one sum by HMG.
