Hong Kong will accept ATA carnets for goods temporarily imported under the International

Convention to Facilitate the Importation of

Commercial Samples and Advertising Material (1952);

Hong Kong will accept ATA carnets issued and used

for goods in transit;

- Hong Kong will not accept ATA carnets for postal

traffic.

The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (9th Floor, Union House,

Hong Kong) has been approved for designation as the issuing and

guaranteeing association for ATA carnets in Hong Kong.

I request that you inform me of the date on which this extension shall

take effect.
