Please refer to your letter of 22 June to me seen Hong Kong telno 2101 (copy attached) in which the Hong Kong Government agree to take responsibility for the UK contribution even if it should exceed US $5000.

Hong Kong have also agreed to your suggestion that we should postpone ratifying the amendments relating to mandatory contributions until after the next (17th) session of APPPC.

3.

We are still awaiting a reply to Pamela Major's letter of 21 June to Stanley Ying (which was copied to you) asking who in the Hong Kong Government deals with APPPC affairs. I will let you know as soon as we hear from them.
