I refer to your letter of 21 June 1990 and earlier correspondence addressed to Mr S. Ying of this Branch. I took over Mr S. Ying's schedule regarding, amongst other things, Hong Kong's participation in international activities and IROS, in July 1989 and have since been dealing with this subject. Future correspondence in this regard could therefore be addressed to me.

I have not seen Judith Usher's letter of 22 May but I assume it is also related to transmission of APPPC/FAO papers to Hong Kong. Mr Gordon Leung, Assistant Secretary for Economic Services, is responsible for the routine business of APPPC/FAO. Grateful therefore if you could ask ODA to send papers on this subject to him direct. This Branch would of course continue to be your contact point on matters relating to Hong Kong's continued participation in FAO other than routine business.
