Amend the Privileges and Immunities (Joint Liaison Group and Land

Commission) Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. Short title

This Ordinance may be cited as the Privileges and Immunities

(Joint Liaison Group and Land Commission) (Amendment) Ordinance 1990.

2.

Interpretation

Section 2 of the Privileges and Immunities (Joint Liaison Group

and Land Commission) Ordinance (Cap. 36) is amended by adding before

the definition of "experts"

""dependants" when used in relation to Chinese members of the

Joint Liaison Group, Chinese members of the Land

Commission, experts or supporting staff, means members of

their families forming part of their households;".

3.

Application

Section 3 (1) is amended by repealing paragraphs (c) and (d) and

substituting

"(c) experts;

(d) supporting staff; and

(e)

dependants of the persons mentioned in paragraph (a), (b),

(c) or (d).".
