Article 3
STS 886/90
The Contracting Parties shall take all the necessary
measures to promote and improve the cultural exchange.
Article 4
The Contracting Parties shall encourage direct cooperation
in the cultural field between the relevant organisations and
institutions of both countries.
Article 5
The Contracting Parties agree, in implementation of this
Agreement, to draw up exchange programmes for specific
periods of time (or annual plans) in separate consultations
at which a decision will also be reached on the costs
arising.
Article 6
This Agreement shall apply also to (West) Berlin in
accordance with the current situation.
Article 7
This Agreement shall enter into force as soon as the
Contracting Parties have notified each other of the
completion of the domestic requirements necessary for entry
into force.
This Agreement shall have a duration of five years. If it
is not denounced in writing six months before the end of that period, it shall be renewed for further periods of five
years.
