This group left HO CHI MINH, S.VN. for HAI PHONG, N.VN. by ferry at 0645 hrs. on 12-4-90. They stayed overnight at HAI PHONG on 14-4-90 and proceeded to MONG CAI the next day. They stayed there 3 days waiting for arrangement to cross the Sino-Vietnamese border. By offering some money to some local villagers, they were led to DONG XING E ), CHINA separately.

Some of them passed through the check point of the Sino-Vietnamese border and

some of them went there by boat. Then they gathered again at a local hostel

華僑服務旅 on 20-4-90. After staying 1 day there, they went to ZHEN JIANG (7 讧 by bus. On 23-4-90, they changed another bus to TAI PING). They waited there for several days looking around for buying a junk. On 29-4-90, they bought a motorized junk at a cost of RMB $4,000 from a local fisherman. After buying some food, they boarded the junk and set sail for Hong Kong at about 1300 hrs. on 29-4-90. They eventually arrived in Hong Kong in the evening the same day.
