1. Three had knowledge of the screening policy before sailing through press and hearsay.

None had knowledge of the mandatory/forced repatriation.

3. Four stopovers in China.

4. They were treated as locals by Chinese authority as they could speak fluent Chinese.

None had heard of the news that they would be placed on a deserted island after their arrival in Hong Kong.

6. Total no. of unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 ONE (1B).

8. Hong Kong is chosen instead of other countries as it is the safest country to live in.
