This group comprised three Chinese families. They were also residents of HA TUYEN, N.VN. they were forced to settle in the new economic zone. They lived there until they knew about the liberalization of the Sino-Vietnamese land border in 1987. As a result, they went to YUNNAN, CHINA (

) in Feb 1988. They joined their relatives in China and tried to apply for residence there. However, their applications were turned down. They were even foreed to return Vietnam due to illegal entry into China. Nether did the Vietnamese government accept their entry. Thus they moved around YUNNAN and GUANGXI, depending on their relatives for their living. In March this year, they met Group I and planned to come to Hong Kong. They arrived in Hong Kong with Group I and II on 11-4-90.
