This VBP is^landcrosser from China. No boat photo is available.
Through the introduction of his friend, this Vietnamese made known to a courier in name of LY SEN (4) who charged each escapee 0.2 tael of gold for guiding them to China, but they had to pay additional money for the exodus boat later. Since the informant thought his money was not enough for this whole exodus, he just followed the group (totally about 18 persons) departed HO CHI MINH on 14-12-89 without paying any charge. They arrived at HA NOI by train 3 days later and reached HON GAI by bus on 18-12-89. Thereafter, he and two other Vietnamese were forbidden to follow the group anymore because they had not paid any to the courier. They took a bus to HAI PHONG and then a ferry to HAI NINH. Shortly after they dispersed, he was approached by a chinese boy who promised to lead him through the Sino-Vietnamese border only if he agreed to exchange money with his grandmother working there as a hawker.
