The Governor visited Peking on 10-12 January to hold discussions with Senior Chinese officials dealing with Hong Kong affairs on range of current issues. It would not be appropriate to reveal the detail of those discussions. We hope that the Governor's visit will pave the way for resumption of a fully cooperative working relationship over Hong Kong issues.
