ZAMBIAN PRIME MINISTER'S TRANSIT THROUGH HONG KONG
During my introductory call on the Prime Minister, General Masheke went out of his way to express his thanks for the arrangements made for his transit through Hong Kong. He spoke at
some length about how well he had been received and what an unexpected pleasure this was. He then handed me a letter conveying his thanks to you through me, a copy of
which I enclose.
I understand from General Masheke that in the end you did not fly back to Gatwick on the same plane. Judging by his conversational powers as displayed during my first meeting with him you did not miss a sparkling, travelling companion!
