Functional constituencies are specified in the Second Schedule of the Legislative Council (Electoral Provisions) Ordinance (Chapter 381). Under section 46 of the Ordinance, the Governor in Council may, by order published in the Gazette, amend the Schedule. A draft Order will be submitted in due course for Members approval.
