Mr Cooney asked about India. There was a discussion on the status of discussions with India. It was agreed that the FCO should follow up to clarify next steps.
Mr Cooney mentioned that he had had a meeting with Israeli officials and wondered if we had considered seeking an agreement with Israel.
Mr Fall said he would be grateful for comments on his letter about drugs cooperation with South Africa in due
course.
Mr Vallance explained that he was working on a new model agreement which he would circulate in draft to those interested.
Next meeting was provisionally arranged for 25 October.
