sought by foreign jurisdictions, such as obtaining

evidence, transfer of persons in custody to give evidence,

search and seizure, and tracing, seizing and forfeiting of

the proceeds of criminal activities, can only be provided

if permitted by statutory powers.

Kong for the provision of assistance in criminal matters

at present are found in Part VIII of the Evidence
