JAMMING OF BBC WORLD SERVICE
1. We took up the point in your telno 351 about possible Vietnamese jamming of the BBC World Service with Bush House. You will see from the enclosed reply from David Witherow, the Deputy Managing Director, that the BBC consider such selective jamming highly unlikely and impossible to confirm. You will also note the difficulty in identifying programmes in advance, which might deal with Vietnamese related topics.
