standard of living to continue so that our listeners will be
more demanding in the quality of the programming both in music
as well as in the spoken word and these demands will have to be
met not only to the listening public as a whole, but to

Nonetheless, we understand and respect our responsi-
bilities as a prospective licensee, and within the stipulated
period will endeavour to :-

enhance the quality of our sound; (Investment in
Transmission and Studio Equipment refers).
6.2.
enhance the quality of the people, in particular
those concerned with the presentation of News and Public
Affairs; after which,

enhance the quantity of such programmes;
