What about the forthcoming visit in November
of Prince Charles and Princess Diana?
SIR DAVID WILSON:
Well we're looking forward very much indeed to
seeing both of their Royal Highnesses. I am
sure, and I expect that they will get a warm
welcome in Hong Kong. We've always said, in
Hong Kong, that they'd be welcome
to
come
whenever they wish to. There was a period
when the visit was in some doubt because there
was doubt about whether they'd go ahead with
the China visit, and the two were originally
linked together.
DAVID SPANIER:
Finally, just looking at the new situation in
Peking, is there any chance from your point of
view of renegotiating or adding to
to the deal
that you've made for Hong Kong, to improve it?
