students respectively. Subsequent reimbursement is arranged from FCOSAS and RHKJC on an equal share basis (up to the agreed limit of £40,000 each). The balance will be met by reimbursement on an equal

an equal share basis from the Sir S K Tang Bequest and RHKJC (up to the agreed limit of £85,000 each) Under these arrangements, a reimbursement of £3,658.50 was made from the Sir S K Tang Bequest for 1988-89.

(d) The Sir S K Tang Bequest has been on one-month deposit here and renewed every month since date of receipt. Your Office informed us that one third of the principle and the accrued interest would have to be transferred to the Institute of Cancer Research in the UK (your telno 273 of 27 January 1989) and the remaining two thirds to the British Council (your telno 1969 of 26 July 1988) who would act as the Fund Manager for that part of the Bequest, but no further instruction has been given to us yet. The Bequest will therefore continue to be rolled over on a monthly basis until further notice.

I hope the above account will provide some help and I shall be happy to supply further information if required.
