Hope Geneva Conference will reach agreement on resettlement arrangements for all refugees still awaiting resettlement.

Taken in 20,000 Indo-Chinese refugees since 1975.

Have recently given new commitment to resettle a further 1,000 refugees from Hong Kong over 2/3 years a doubling of our current

intake.

Ready to play our part in any comprehensive settlement of Vietnamese refugee problem, in line with Comprehensive Plan of Action agreed at Kuala Lumpur in March.
