Annex D Brunei Historical Background.para 2 should read: "In 1962 British Ghurkas helped to quell an abortive uprising against the Sultan's rule. A Gurkha Battalion has been stationed in Brunei (on a rotational basis with Hong Kong Gurkhas) since then. The Sultan of Brunei bears the cost of the Gurkha Battalion and the arrangement was extended for a further five years from 1988. "
