there be judicial authority of the

issue of warrants; the court should be

satisfied on the basis of evidence

supplied by the foreign country that

there are reasonable grounds to believe

that a thing relevant to the

investigation or proceeding is in the

requested jurisdiction.

Tracing, seizure and forfeiture of the

proceeds of criminal activities

Initially, enforcement of foreign

orders in relation to the tracing, seizure and forfeiture of the proceeds of drug trafficking is to be dealt with in the Drug Trafficking (Recovery of

Proceeds) Ordinance, The Ordinance provides that foreign orders shall not

be enforced if, in the opinion of a

court, to do so would be contrary to

the interests of justice. This would

appear to be an adequate protection against arbitrary foreign awards.
