Earlier this year we contributed £1 million to UNHCR ́5 general programme in Hong Kong. We only managed to get Legco Finance Committee to vote funds earlier this month for new holding facilities costing £12 million by announcing in advance a contribution of £6 million to a UNHCR appeal to help with the running costs of existing facilities.
