I do not think that is what people would want.

The

impreccion I have got from talking to people here is an increasing

acceptance of the proposition that if we cannot meet their bid in

full they would like us to make an early announcement of the way in

which the world is going to be.

INTERVIRVER:

And that will be it?

PORRIGE SECRETARY:

That is what they would like, 1 think.

INTERVIEWER:

So there will not be any reviews prior to 1997?

PORDIGE SECRETARY:

People would like to know where they stand and the sooner we

can com to a conclusion about that the better.

How feasible is this idea of an international rescue package?

It is going to be something which might come into effect after 1997

if something goes wrong but if you have a situation which you have

now in China, the authorities there have automatically refused to

give any oxit permite so how effective would any international

rescue plan ber
