FÖRBIGE SECRETARY:

The shape of our conclusions has not yet been finally

formulated. We have been considering the matter carefully for som

time, obviously with particular attention since what happened a

month ago, and I have said that we shall be announcing our

conclusion in due course.

It has been very valuable to have the chance of hearing what

people say here and of being able to explain to them the limitations

of what we can do.

INTERVIRVEK:

But have your views changed in the light of your visit?

POREIGN SECRETARY:

My views are never finally settled on anything because one

has to be responding to the evidence of what people are saying the

whole time. But one has a pretty clear approach which one has to

sustain.

INTERVIEWKR:

The package which the British Government is going to put

together, is that going to be the end of the story or will you leave

the way open for further reviews before 1997?
