If practicable this line should be capable of being switched through to the Private Secretary's bedroom at night, with a means of transferring and monitoring calls to the Secretary of State's bedroom. The latter requirement is only essential if cost effective. If not, the Private Secretary will need direct dial
facilities in his bedroom. Please let us know costs.

RADIO
The Secretary of State usually travels with his own radio.
However, it is helpful if you are able to provide a
