Thank you for your letter of 2 November enclosing a speaking note for the Anglo-Japanese bilateral meeting on financial matters to be held on 16 November in Tokyo.

The speaking note looks generally fine to us. We have only a few minor amendments to suggest to take account of Nakayama's visit to Hong Kong. We have annotated the speaking note accordingly. This is enclosed.
