Judges and other members of the judiciary serving
in Hong Kong before the establish ment of the Hong Kong SAR may all remain in employ ment and retain their seniority with pay, allowances, benefits and conditions of service no
less favourable than before.
The Hong Kong SAR shall pay to judges and other members of the judiciary who retire or leave the service in compliance with regulations as well as to those who have
retired or left the service before the establish ment of the
Hong Kong SAR, or to their dependents, all pensions, gratuities, allowances and benefits due to them on terms no
less favourable than before, and irrespective of their
nationality or place of residence.
Article 93
On the basis of the system previously operating in
Hong Kong, the Hong Kong SAR shall on its ow n make provision for local lawyers and lawyers from outside the
Hong Kong SAR to work and practise in the Hong Kong SAR.
Article 94
consultation
The judicial organs of the Hong Kong SAR may,
through
and in accordance with law, maintain
judicial relations with those of other parts of the country, and they may render assistance to each other.
Article 95
With the
assistance or authorization of the CPG,
the Government of the Hong Kong SAR may make appropriate
arrangements with foreign states for reciprocal judicial
assistance.
