Dear Geoffany

THE CARRIAN TRIAL

140

Thank you very much for your letter of 21st December 1987, letting me know the latest position about the Carrian trial. serious ones, which will take time to resolve.

My friends in the law in Hong Kong, who feed me with this material, mention "with some considerable misgiving, the fact that this man is now sitting in judgement on people charged with capital offences."
